A Floral Kimono

Good Tuesday morning! The weather here in northern California is supposed to be cooler over the next few days but then warm up again. Just a teaser of the cooler days ahead. Today I’m wearing a comfortable work outfit with Pixie full length pants from Old Navy and a Kimono from Glamour Farms (sold out but I like this one too).

Underneath I’m wearing this sleeveless white top  from Charter Club available at Macy’s but Charter Club has a lot of white tops that could be worn under a Kimono from XS to 3X and the quality is always great.

These pixie pants are comfortable for sitting or standing at a desk all day and they come in sizes 0 to 20 and a lot of different colors too. At 5’8″ I’m always happy when I can find work pants that come in a tall option.

I love how a kimono gives you a little back-end coverage like a cardigan but it’s a lighter weight. I really like the floral print of this one too.

Since it’s going to be a little cooler today I chose to wear my blue bow ballet flats instead of sandals. I love the feminine bow details. There are so many cute ballet flats available now that are perfect for transitioning from too cool for sandals but really not quite cold enough for boots.

I added a tassel pendant necklace, simple diamond stud earrings and my gold watch to complete the look and I’m ready for another day at the office!

What do you think? Do you like or not like kimonos? I’d love to know your vote if you’d leave me a comment below.
