Good morning everyone, today is my doctor appointment road trip with my daughter. My 20 year old beautiful daughter, Alissa, has been in and out of hospitals, centers and doctors offices for over 6 years now so we have learned some ways to make our trips fun. I like to look cute and put together but definitely need to be comfy as we are in the car for a lot of the day. We start out early morning so the weather is usually chilly. I added a cute jean jacket over my top and some blush booties. Of course we had to stop for coffee at one of our favorite roadside shops.
By the time we reach the office it has usually warmed up. We live in northern California so some of the physician services are limited. She has a favorite doctor so we go the distance ha ha. I love this v-neck ribbed top by Inc Concepts from Macys. I am wearing an xs but it comes in many sizes and color options. It is stretchy and very comfortable so you could definitely size up or down if they are out of your size. These floral skinny jeans have a pretty watercolor print that has so many versatile colors in them and come in sizes 4 through 18. They are extremely soft and easy to travel in. I have paired with the bright green top but you could also wear so many other colors with them like this or I also love this white long sleeve one that I tried on and am going back for. I changed into some pewter wedges. I love the scalloped detail. They are sold out but I love these with only a couple inch heel and these are so cute with that ruffle across the top. And as we are headed into fall these booties are a perfect option too. I think I’m getting these for myself ha ha. I love the color, the edging detail and I love that it has kind of a square toe which is trending but also a little pointy to elongate my legs. Kohls has great quality and when I hit the sales it’s a win win.
Next we hit Owens Pharmacy to pick up her meds:) Aren’t those lavendar behind me gorgeous. The weather is perfect for them right now and they are all in bloom.
On the way home we always stop for ice cream and lunch yum yum! We went right by a beautiful golf course where my husband and I play.
Of course we had to stop by Spring Hill Nursery because as I mentioned earlier I love flowers. I’ve had so much fun landscaping my front yard this summer as we just moved in this May. The cool mountain breeze was picking up again as we moved closer to home.
I took this selfie to show my accessories up close as my photographer was getting tired. Isn’t my daughter cute in the background. She refused to be in my pictures as she is super over the top shy. She is working on writing a children’s book back there and listening to her music. Anyways, back to my earrings, bracelet and necklace. I chose sparkly studs. I have two piercings per ear so I went with 1/3 carat in front and 1/6 carat in back. My husband bought me these as a present one year from Kay Jewelers but JC Penney, Kohls or Macy’s have beautiful look alikes. My silver chain cross necklace was a Christmas present from my daughter and my wrap bracelet has some pretty sparkles mixed with an off-white, gray and blush leather. And that’s a wrap this trip around:)
